ISO9001 states that it
applies to organisations
- needing to demonstrate
their ability to consistently supply products & services which
meet requirements
- that aim to
"enhance customer satisfaction"

Application |
This clause allows organisations to
claim that relevant sub-clauses do not apply. However, these exclusions
can only be claimed against clause 7.
So this means that organisations cannot claim (for
example) that clause 4.2.4 does not apply to their activities.
If a sub-clause is claimed for exclusion, the
organisation must gve a valid reason for the claim. |
